Thoughout History, there have been many attempts to destroy the Jewish race and even more important to destroy their faith and resume about the Monothesit God of Heaven. The force behind this is (of course the Satanic forces) if those forces could destroy the Jews and their Religion, there would be no Messiah or salvation into eternal abode in the Heavns with God. All of these attempts have failed and will continue to fail as Almighty God has made a covenant with them, because of Abrahams faith in him. Among the early attempts were the Phistines, the Assyrians and then the Babyalonion Empire, I covered this in a previous blog about Jeremiah and Daniel’s Lion Den, God turned that one against his enemis and the Babylonions ended up worshiping only God. This attempt at integration into Babylonion Culture failed as (they all have and will continue to fail), the Jewish holding onto their covenant with God is an impressive demonstration of faith. After 70 years (God’s number for completion), the new King ( Cyrus ) allowed the Jews to go back to Israel, the ones that went back became Helenistic Jews, influenced by Greek Culture and were much like a lot of Americans today, trying to walk between what God says is right and what they think is right The ones that stade in Babylon still were practicioners of the Mosaic Law and still hung onto their language.
The second attempt was the Roman occupation of Israel, this is mostly covered in the blog about Hadrian and Pilate, the Jewish faith in their God and his commandments. That Pilate had many uprisings from them. The first was hanging a picture of Ceaser on the Temple door, a blatent disregatd for the Jewish faith, When he brought in the troops, the jewish people laid in the street and told him to kill them as they were not going to allow God’s commandments to be broken. The worst was Hadrians (covered in another blog) that killed over 500 thousand of the Jews, banned them from their Holy City (Jerusalem), tried to change the name of their country from Israel to Syria Palastina, did it work Israel is still called Israel and the Jews still have Judaism, and still converse in their ancient language, none of these have worked or ever will work, God is total righteous and his covenant with these people will last for eternity.
Now we come to the Medivial portion, with the Crusaders, from 1096 BC to 1391 BC, they massacred thousands of Jews in the Rhineland. Then they started accussing the Jews of poisoning wells because of the Black Death, there is no end to the Satanic attempts to eridicate the Jewish Race from the face of the earth. I have no doubt that the crusaders were thinking they were doing a good deed, as it as the Jewish leaders that were responsible for Jesus Crucifxion. A lesson for all here, doing good is doing literally what God say’s is good, not what you think is good. All these attempts have failed and will continue to fail until Jesus returns to give them their proper gratitude and respect as God’s chosen people and Christians that are adopted are a part of the Jewish People. There is no other race that is over 4,000 years old that still prctices the same religion and that still has the same language, there are none, they all passed away, Phistines, Cananites etc. but the Jews are still here because of God’s covenant with them and will continue to be, trully a remarkable race of God Fearing people.
