My hope is that both believers and unbelievers will find this evidence of the resurrection of our LORD. The should is stored in a Catholic Church in Turin Italy, my opinion and only my opinion is that it was stored there by the Apostle Peter as he is recognized as the founder of the Catholic Church. the should is a new Linen Cloth that is about 14 feet long and three feet wide, it shows the image of a crucified naked man, both front and rear views. It has blood on it that is in all the places that our Christ was wounded, Hemoglobin on the head from the thorns, the wrists and the feet, where the nails were driven through his flesh to hang him on the cross, a close examination of the image shows a beard that was pulled out, just like the prophesies stated centuries before. The image on the back shows a flogging with a flagrum, just like the scripture says, a Flagrum is a three fork ended whip that sometimes has lead balls in the ends. His face shows a severe beating just like the scriptures said, the Roman Guards would hit him and then as k him to prophesy who hit him, they did this after the robe was put on him and the thorn crown has in place, just mocking him as he said he was the King of the Jews..
The Botanist that inspected the Shrould found 58 different species of plants, many of those were only found in the Jerusalem area, for the pollen to be there it had to happen in the Spring, Passover is in the Spring. This shrould was inspected by many different scientists and none have an answer as to how the image got on the Shrould, they have discounted paint or any other type of forgery, even known today much less 26 hundred years ago. they have done their best to get the answer as why the image is there and to replicate it all have failed. An energy expert has come to the conclusion there was a burst of light energy that would require all the present Wolds energy and it happend in a small part of a split second. Mineral residue from where the feet were has been analysed and found to be just like the minerals from the Ossuaries found in Jerusalem, this shrould came from the Jerusalem area those two things prove it. The Romans Cruccified many Jews in Israel but none with the wounds shown in this shroud. Most of those the Romans crucified were buried in a mass grave, onle Jesus received a burial in a rich man’s grave, with a new graves cloth, again as in the biblical description
There are no other burial cloths that have ever been found of a crucifxied Jew but this one and the wounds are unique. there is no Historical Record of any crucifixions wearing a crown or thorns and no others that had a spear thust into there side to prove death. The Roman method to insure death was to brake the legs of the person, so they couldn’t raise up to breath, this is how the two with Jesus died, they broke their legs because of the coming Sabbath. The scriptures is once again fulfilled as no bones were broken in the image of the man. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the image of our LORD and Messiah, being a sacrifice for our sins none. this physical evidence I believe was left for us in this last day to prove we belong to him and will be ressurrected to be with him some day.
