Do we need faith to believe, when we are surrounded by truth in Prophesie and archealogical evidence of the Birth, life, and sacrifice that Jesus made for us to have a relationship with the Father in Heaven. Starting with over 3 hundred Prophesie’s about Jesus all written over 4 hundred years before his birth, all fulfilled to the letter, where he was born, the healings he did for proof of his Messiahship, the sinless life he led, the totally unimaginable sacrificial death he endure to redemn all who would accept. The odds against one man fulfilling ten of these Prophesies is astronomical, the odds against one man fulfilling all of these is unimaginable, unless they are total truth and they are. Tha archealogical evience begins with the discovery of Peter’s house on the shores of the sea of Galilee and there was an open space that Jesus taught from, just as the Bible described, the potters field that Caiphas bought with the thirty pieces of silver, Judas threw on the Temple floor, has been found, only foreigners are buried there and none before the ist century AD. An ossuary was found with the Aramiac writting, James son of Joseph, brother of Jesus, the same James that wrote the book of James, another Ossuary that stated sons of Simon the Cyrene, yes he carried the cross beam for Jesus. The Apostels were willling to die before denying their faith in Jesus, no man would do that without knowing, eternal life awaited him, most early Christians were willing to die for their faith and many did, no one would do that without assurance that a better life awaits, to live with God in eternity is beyond man’s comprehension but the peace and joy in his presence would be, well heavenly.
Now we can come to the Historians, Josephus, etc, that lived in the early 1st Century AD, all declared that Jesus lived there, was a prophet and died in crucifiction. The after effects of the Resurrection, many saints were raised as a first fruit offering to the Father God and Jesus walked the earth many days after being raised, The the deciples watched as he went up to Heaven, after having discussions with his diciples and others,
There is such a preponderance of evidence, the question becomes why doesn’t every one do there research and learn the truth, turn to Jesus, accept him and follow the Spirit (do what he say’s to do) in the) written word. I have no doubts that a court of law faced with this evidence would conclude this Jesus is the Messiah promised through the over 300 hundred Prophesies.
