+This must start off with Abrams, renamed by God to Abraham, He was in Persiaand began to question the practice of worshipping idols that were made by man. He came to the conclusion these idols couldn’t do a thong for anyone that worshipped them, he then began to seel a living God to worship and arrived at the end that there was only one God, creating the Monotheist doctrine. As he worshipped the livong God, then God bagan to speak to him, telling him to leave everything and go to a new land, that where ever his feet touched God would give that to him and his decendants. God sent Angels to tell him from his very old wife that a son of promise would be given to him and through his decendants God would provide renewed relationships to the Father (Jesus). He trusted God ( he always did ) and left Persia to create the Nation of Israel. The next man of faith must be NOAH, God told him to build a ship brcause he was going to destroy mankimd because of their sins. Noah started to build this ark and it took him about 100 years to do, all the times listening to criticism as their was no rain before this time, I can just hear it, “how stupid Noah.it never rains, the ground is watered from below. Noah and probably his family just kept bui;dinmg, then God told him to allow the anim, ale to come in, he did and when his family was in the ark, God closed the door. Here come the rains, as the Heavens gave up their water and the water of the deep was broken up. It rained for 40 days, ,this is Gods number for sanctification. He was a tremendous man of faith and his trust in God saved him, and his sons and their families. Next we Find DAVID, the youngest son but what a faith and worship he had toward God, a simple shephard boy who had killed a lion and a Bear that were after the flock of sheep, he was taking care of. His father told him to take some food to his brothers as they were engaged in a battle with the Phistines, as tjhe two Armies faced each other a Giant came out of the Phistine side and challenged the Israli Army to send out a warrior to fight, the tradition was the loser would be a servant to the winner. Not one of the Israeli Army soldiers were willing to tka on this 9 foot tall giant with a spear ad big as a weavers beam, David arrived and wanted to fight the Giant and since no one else would take the challenge, he was allowed to do so, he picked up 5 stones and ho;;ered at the Giant, how dare you defie the Army of the living God, Golith just mocked him, he put a stone in his sling shot and hit the Giant in the head, probably klnocking him out, he tehen took Golath’s sword and cut his head of, taking it back to Jerusalem and proably buring it at the place of the skull. When Jesus was crucixed, the prophesy from Genisis was fullfilled. I will put enmity beteween your seed and his seed and he will bruise your heel but youi will kill hie head. The Bible is always true and fullfilled sometimes years later but done never the lest.
Then we have Daniel, who ,refused to stop praying to God in spite of death threats, GOD became the only God worshipped in Babylonion captivity and Babylonion treaure was used to rebuild Jerusalem, eventually because of him, then the tree Hebrew Children that took the fiery Furnace to continue to worship their Go, the son of man (Jesus) was seen in the furnace with then and delivered them. The list of Jewish men of faith is just too long for this blog but they all were delivered because of their obedience to their faith. there is nothing to hard for our God to do taking care of his chosen ones. How can we skip over Moses and Joseph,, we would need to write a book to cover evben the obvious menm that loved and served God, no matter what. I can see that there are so many men of extreme faith and some women also that it would take books, not a blog to do justice to this subject. There was Moses, three Hebrew Children Elijah, Elias, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Isaih, The list is almost endless of the jewish people that stayed true to God even and the threat and action of physical death. I can’t close without at least a mention of all the Apostles and a multitude of Disciples, they are all in Paradise as I write this. Keep the Faith in Jesus, no matter the cost because the rewards are, well, out of this world.
